The Skotch Kooler which has become an icon of the 50s, was made by Hamilton Metal Products Co., Hamilton, Ohio. copyrighted in 1952. Petra Cabot is credited with the design of the Skotch Kooler. It could hold 4 gallons of food and kept cool by meand of its fiberglass insulation, air, and its heat-reflecting outer surface.
