Samantha’s Picasso Print on Bewitched

A framed print of The Old Guitarist by Pablo Picasso from his Blue Period, hangs over the mantel in the Steven's living room on Bewitched. Oddly the picture is hanging on its side, perhaps to fit the available space. Picasso was still living and working on his Chicago Picasso sculpture around the time when the picture was seen on the show. Although Pablo Picasso never visited the United States I wonder if he knew his print was hanging sideways on the popular TV show Bewitched.

Rare Chanel Solid Gold Lighter from 30s-40s


Listed on eBay is this rare Chanel solid gold cigarette lighter from the Coco Chanel era. One could imagine that Coco Chanel may have kept one of these in her Chanel Handbag or given one as a gift to her paramour of the day.

Franciscan Ballet pottery on Bewitched s01 e27 There's No Witch Like An Old Witch

As a long time fan of the classic TV series Bewitched I started watching it again around Halloween this year. I could not help but notice the pretty Mid-century Pottery pieces in use on the show. The Franciscan Ballet tea set in use in the screen captures above is very pretty and stylish and so collectible right now to go with the MCM decor currently in vogue.
